Continuous Process Centrifuges

Continuous flow centrifugation reduces the material processing time, as large volumes of material can be centrifuged at high centrifugal forces without filling and decanting a large number of centrifuge tubes or regularly stopping and restarting the rotor.

Riera Nadeu (RINA) offers different series of continuous process centrifuges, particularly suitable for applications in the chemical, pharmaceutical, food and waste recovery industry. The RINA continuous process centrifuges can also work in potentially explosive atmospheres (ATEX).

To ensure feasibility and desired results, Riera Nadeu can simulate your process in their test center or provide test machines for rent, which includes training of your operators.

The RINA 500 series is fitted with a conical rotor for the continuous solid-liquid separation of any crystalline, granular or fibrous products suspended in a liquid. These centrifuges achieve a high filterability index to reach solid concentrations ranging between 30% and 80% and for particle sizes between 50 and 500 microns.

The main characteristics are the high continuous throughput considering their compact dimensions and weight as well as their easy handling.

The RINA series 500 centrifuges are widely applicable, mainly in the chemical, pharmaceutical and food industry, for the separation of various organic and inorganic synthesis products. More information

The RINA Serie 600 AS centrifuges, equipped with a cylindrical rotor, are ultra-efficient in separating non-filtering products with a non-miscible liquid (light phase) from a squeezable solid (heavy phase). These centrifuges offer further advantages thanks to their squeezer design, including running at higher g-force, lower operating cost, less necessity of flocculants and lower moisture content at the outlet.

These RINA decanter centrifuges are suitable for a wide range of slurries and/or applications, mainly in the food industry and in waste recovery, provided that the solid being processed is compressible. They are particularly applied for dehydrating hardly sedimentable suspensions, such as sludges, fats, oils and greases, fruit extracts, juices, starch, beer, yeast, gelatins, casein, pulp and for biological water recycling. RINA 600 SC are high efficiency decanter centrifuges used for continuous solid/liquid separation. Equipped with a cylindrical-conical solid bowl and due to their design, configuration and centrifugal factor, these centrifuges achieve outstanding results regarding moisture reduction.

RINA 600 SC decanters offer an extensive range of applications with a variety of compressible and non-compressible products. The only prerequisite for the separation is that the products are non-miscible and that the solids have a higher density than the liquids.

The RINA 600 SC decanter centrifuges are widely applied in food and secondary processes of any industry.
